Hello DATA Community!
We are so excited to announce that we are having a Prom this year after a couple of years having to go without. This event will be taking place on Saturday, April 30, 2022 here inside the school building. The prom is open to grades 10-12 only as decided by the student prom committee. Our theme this year is “Masquerade.” Students are encouraged to come with an eye mask, but it is not necessary and is just fun a theme the committee decided to go with. We will also have fun decorations including eye masks for students who want one. The colors for this year’s prom are black, silver, gold and deep blue.
This is a semi-formal to formal event taking place from 7pm to 10pm. We are incredibly thankful this year to have a donation of a photo booth for students to take prom photos free of charge. These photos will be available in print and digital from our understanding.
Students may also invite a student from another school with proper documentation. Attached to this email you will find not only the poster for this year’s event, but also the form for students who wish to bring an outside guest from another school. Tickets are currently on sale through Ms. Lawson before school and during lunch. They cost $15 for a single ticket and $25 for a pair. We accept cash only. Tickets will not be available at the door.
This year we are also asking parents to help us out with chaperoning and catering. Here is a link to a sign-up form to volunteer to bring goodies for the snack table, or to chaperone.

Please note that the form states 30 minutes before start time and 30 minutes after for set-up and clean-up for volunteers.

If you would like to simply donate money to the prom committee to help us with decorations, we also appreciate that. Donations can be made in the form of check or cash. Please contact us if you prefer helping in this way.
We also have a QR code created by our DJ that allows students to request songs ahead of time.  If you have questions or concerns about this event, please email Ms. Gena Lawson at or our admin at Sincerely,
The DATA Student Prom Committee
