Dear DATA Families,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year! We are honored you have chosen to be a part of our community and look forward to learning and growing with you. We are looking forward to a wonderful year and would like to take this opportunity to share what you can expect to successfully start the school year. We are committed to the success of each DATA student, and recognize that it takes support from everyone in our community – parents, families, and students – to reach our goals. We believe that when we work together, we can create a comprehensive educational experience that enriches the academic and social-emotional growth of each student.

To have a smooth and comfortable transition to the new year, we have scheduled student orientation days called JUMP-START. This will take place during the week of August 8th through August 12thOur first full-day schedule for all students will be Monday August 15th from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Each grade level will have a designated jump-start day from 8:00 am- 12:00 pm. This day is designed to address grade-level-specific topics to prepare students for the start of the school year. Therefore, each day will be catered to the following grade levels:

Monday August 8th Seniors 8:00 am-12:00 pm

Tuesday August 9th Juniors 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Wednesday August 10th Sophomores 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Thursday August 11th Freshmen 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Friday August 12th Grades 7/8 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Parents should plan to attend with their child from 8:00 am- 8:45 am to meet advisors and to complete any required paperwork. If you are unable to attend this time, Division Heads Adam Dodge and Jeanette Perez will be hosting another meeting on August 10th at 4:00 pm. You can RSVP for this evening here.

Students will report to their advisor to receive their schedule and additional school information. If you are a parent that has children in different grade levels, you may attend each child’s jump-start day, or simply one. It will be important for each student to attend the correct jump start day according to their grade level.
