Hello DATA community,

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Albuquerque metro area starting at 5am tonight.  They are projecting that we will receive anywhere from 4-6 inches of snow (more for higher elevations and less for valley areas near canyons).   https://weather.com/weather/alerts/localalerts/l/cdad20b8f7657de1012528aeda289407445c7be167e14dd56a66b0cd3716ff03?phenomena=WS&significance=A&areaid=NMZ219&office=KABQ&etn=0002

DATA follows the APS directions in terms of delays and snow days.  We will keep you up to date as much as possible, but keep track of what APS does for tomorrow and Thursday.  We also recognize tomorrow may start out with driveable conditions and then slowly move toward dangerous driving situations, which may necessitate an early release tomorrow.  Lastly, we will let you know if we are doing virtual learning while out or if we will have a “snow day” depending on what happens (likely snow day, it rarely snows here!)

Thank you so much!
