Data Athletics

DATA currently offers participation in a number of athletics for all genders. Here at DATA we comply with the New Mexico Athletics Association (NMAA) and participate in the ACSL (Albuquerque Charter School League). This means we still have eligibility requirements as outlined by the New Mexico Department of Education, but we compete against other charter schools and homeschools. We do not compete against APS schools.

Sports Offerings

DATA follows the eligibility requirements set forth by the NMAA.

Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher throughout the sports season.
Students must have a completed health physical (or waiver/medical exemption document) before being allowed to participate in sports.
Student athletes are also expected to attend class regularly.

SOCCER

DATA offers co-ed soccer for grades 9-12.

VOLLEYBALL

The season is held in the Spring semester with conditioning (training) beginning right after winter break.

BASKETBALL

DATA offers Boys and Girls Basketball for grades 9-12. The basketball season takes place throughout Winter, with games starting in November and practices beginning in October.

TRACK & FIELD

DATA offers Track & Field for students in grades 9-12. We compete all over the greater Albuquerque area during the Spring season, meets typically begin in March.

FLAG FOOTBALL

DATA participates in light-contact, flag football for students of all genders in grades 9-12. This season takes place at the beginning of the school year in August.

Cross Country

DATA offers Cross Country for students in grades 9-12. We compete all over the greater Albuquerque area during the Fall season, meets typically begin in September.
